Texthog Tip: Correct Formatting for SMS and Email
Everyday we’re working hard to make Texthog as simple to use as possible. We’ve noticed that as of late, we have received questions about the correct way to send text messages and emails to Texthog. The trouble is that if you send an sms or an email to your account that is improperly formatted, it is forever lost in the clouds. Of course, it’s not entirely lost (we do keep logs to help to track, backup & troubleshoot) but to our users, it seems like their work it’s gone for good. It’s frustrating and we understand.
We’re working on making the process simpler, but in the meantime here’s a recap of how it works.
Use multiple tags to make your purchase more specific
Gas, $25.50 (v.s) Gas, Shell, $25.50
Separate each tag with a comma, and put the amount last.
Gas, Shell, $25.50
You can omit the dollar sign
Gas, Shell, 25.50

Hi there,
I looked over your blog and it looks really good. Do you ever do link exchanges on your blog roll? If you do, I’d like to exchange links with you.
Let me know if you’re interested.
Thanks..

Hi,
Nice web application. To be able to use it, I need the posibility to change currency to Danish Kroner (DKK) – and an option where to position the DKK text (before or after the amount).
Please consider this feature.
